Ornstein-Schuler Expands Support for Operation Underground Railroad’s Mission to Rescue Children from Sex Trafficking

According to FBI statistics, each year in the United States, thousands of children under 18 years of age disappear and a number are never found.  Many of these children are sold into sex trafficking and sexually abused on a daily basis, while their families live with the pain and suffering of not knowing where their child is or what has happened to their child.

That’s why Ornstein-Schuler has been proud to support Operation Underground Railroad (a 501c3 non-profit) that assists governments around the world in the rescue of human trafficking and sex trafficking victims, with a special focus on children.  Last year, we donated $25,000 to Operation Underground Railroad and going forward we intend to do even more to support this amazing organization.

To that end, the Ornstein-Schuler team is sponsoring “A Thousand Points of Light” on-line fundraising event and has launched a new website to raise money and bring renewed attention to Operation Underground Railroad and its critical mission of protecting the most vulnerable in our society.  For every $1200 we raise, it allows 1 child to be rescued and returned to their family. Many of these children are between the ages of 4 – 8 and every dollar raised counts. For example, if 100 people donate $12 each, then one child will be rescued and saved.

It is time for private citizens and organizations to rise up and help.  It is our duty as a free and blessed people.  Ornstein-Schuler is proud to do its part to help and we encourage as many people as possible to learn more about Operation Underground Railroad and to join us in supporting this wonderful organization.

Please visit our website at: and donate what you can to support this amazing cause.

Every dollar counts.
